Frequently asked questions
What if I have more than 7 devices?
Seven devices is a starting point, not a ceiling. Talk to us and we extend it on request. Beyond roughly 100 devices, our dedicated platform is usually better value.
Do I need to buy FortiManager or FortiAnalyzer licences separately?
No. Your subscription covers both platforms, so there is no separate Fortinet SKU per device. It works with FortiZTP and FortiDeploy.
Are there setup fees, and what does cancelling involve?
No setup fees and no charge for log storage. Billing is annual, and if you cancel partway through the year we refund the unused balance for the remaining months.
Who manages my FortiGates day to day?
You do, unless you would rather not. You can self-manage, or delegate access to your own MSP or MSSP.
Can I automate against it?
Yes. You get full API access to both platforms for automation and integration with your existing tooling.
